About World Conference

The World Conference on Tobacco OR Health Conference is being held July 12-15, 2006 in Washington DC. The conference will feature the latest research on the science of tobacco and its effects, and presenters will share relevant new data on topics including addiction, cessation, public policy, secondhand smoke, and smokeless tobacco.

The conference will also allow delegates an opportunity to examine the impact of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and to discuss ways developing countries can use it to promote their tobacco control efforts and how it can reinforce tobacco control in developed countries.
